Boater's Cocktail
I'm a sailor who spends a fair amount of time in Hawaii. The thing about sailors is we love to drink. There is nothing better after a day of being gently blown across the Pakipika than to land ashore and have a cool refreshing tropical drink on the lanai.
Mai Tai
Ingredients:
1/2 cup Pineapple juice
6 tblsp Sweet and sour
3 tblsp Light rum (I use Hana Bay Rum which is good and inexpensive, plus I like to support the local economy.)
3 tblsp Gold rum (Hana Bay)
3 tblsp Orange Curacao
2 tblsp Dark rum (Hana Bay)
Crushed Ice
Mixing instructions:
Mix first 6 ingredients in pitcher. Fill glasses with ice. Pour rum mixture over. Garnish with pineapple wedges, if desired.
Mahalo
